The Author
In the years before Jennifer's death we heard very little about medical malpractice and incompetant doctors. We knew it existed, but we ignored it. We trusted and believed in the medical profession and in their oath 'To Do No Harm'. When I lost my daughter in 1986 I lost my faith and trust in doctors. I knew I had to do something. Telling Jennifer's story was not easy, but it brought awareness to those people who care and it has made a differance.

After eighteen years there is some improvement, more people are speaking out. Unfortunately, not much has changed. We continue to hear about medical mistakes and incompetencies among the doctors and hospitals. Still, lives are lost because of corporate greed and their focus on the bottom line. I think about my daughter on a daily basis and how and why she died. Her death is my constant reminder of why I continue this fight.

I hope by visiting our website you leave with the knowledge to empower yourself. Voice your concerns, tell your stories, write to your senators and congressman. And when its time to vote for our leaders, go out and do the right thing. When the people speak and are finally heard, only then, will there be no more tragic stories like Jennifer's.
